Insightair upgrades sensors for healthier indoor environments

At InsightAir, we are committed to providing the highest standards of indoor air quality monitoring. In line with this commitment, we have upgraded the sensors in all our monitoring modules to ensure compliance with both the RESET Air Standard and the WELL Building Standard.

Understanding RESET and WELL Compliance

The RESET Air Standard is a performance-driven building certification program that emphasizes continuous monitoring of indoor air quality (IAQ). It requires real-time data collection on key parameters such as particulate matter (PM2.5), total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature, and relative humidity. This approach ensures that IAQ is consistently maintained at optimal levels, promoting occupant health and well-being.

Similarly, the WELL Building Standard recognizes the importance of IAQ in promoting human health. It sets stringent requirements for air quality, including the continuous monitoring of pollutants and adherence to specific performance thresholds. Compliance with WELL standards demonstrates a building's commitment to creating environments that enhance occupant health and comfort.

Benefits of the Upgrade

By upgrading our sensors to be RESET and WELL standards, we offer our clients several key advantages:

  • Enhanced Accuracy: Our new sensors provide precise real-time data, enabling more effective monitoring and management of indoor air quality.
  • Regulatory Assurance: Compliance with recognized standards ensures that our monitoring systems meet current regulatory requirements, providing peace of mind to our clients.
  • Health and Well-being: Maintaining optimal IAQ is crucial for occupant health, comfort, and productivity. Our upgraded sensors help create healthier indoor environments.

Compliance to recent Belgian legislation

The legislation published on November 6, 2022 concerning the improvement of indoor air quality in enclosed spaces accessible to the public determines that air quality sensors need to undergo an evaluation by an independent laboratory in order to be compliant to legislation. Aligning our sensors with RESET and WELL standards provides a clear pathway to compliance. These standards are recognized benchmarks in the industry, and adherence to them ensures that our monitoring systems meet or exceed current regulatory expectations.
